The Blackburn Inn and Spa in Staunton, VA is scheduled to open the third quarter of 2013. In 2014, a new hotel located on the campus of the University of the South, known familiarly as Sewanee, will boast 43 rooms and ample indoor and outdoor event space. Inspired by various structures found throughout the campus, this new hotel will combine Southern vernacular and collegiate Gothic architectural elements. Both the grand lobby and lounge area will house dramatic floor to ceiling fireplaces providing cozy gathering space for both leisure and business guests.
